Glenda Alley has been a private piano teacher since 1977, teaching students of all ages and a variety of backgrounds. She has taught Kindermusik since 1996. Watching students grow musically and as people is a great joy.

As a member of Music Teachers National Assn. (MNTA), Washington State Music Teachers Assn (WSMTA), South Sound Partnership of Kindermusik Educators, Glenda attends seminars and workshops to keep abreast of teaching methods, ideas, and teaching technology. She currently serves in an official capacity as a mentor for new Kindermusik educator trainees.

Glenda's goal in teaching both piano and preschool music is to help students enjoy making music, to explore ways to use their musical ability, and to build a constituency of people who support music programs in our community.

Glenda is married, has three grown children and several grandchildren. In addition to music, she enjoys reading, sewing, and scrapbooking.
