Glenda's Music Studio has offered private piano lessons for more than 30 years and Kindermusik classes since 1996.

Piano lessons are available for folks from the age of 7 years on up, including adults.  Each lesson is 45 minutes in length, with 30 minutes devoted to working at the acoustic piano one-on-one with Miss Glenda and 15 minutes using technology to augment what we have learned.  This technology includes a computer and keyboard combination for working on theory and a digital piano that includes the capability for students to play along with pre-recorded orchestrations from the very beginning pieces.

 

Kindermusik® classes are music and movement classes for children from birth to age 7.  Children up through age 3 to 3.5 years are accompanied by their parent or caregiver; children from 3 to 7 years are in class without the parent until the last 15 minutes, when the parent or caregiver returns for sharing time.  Classes are generally made up of 8 children and include singing, dancing, playing age appropriate instruments.  The Kindermusik philosophy works to build the whole child.  More information is available at www.kindermusik.com.  Miss Glenda is a licensed and board certified Kindermusik instructor. 

 

Our goal is to aid in the development of musical children--meaning children who enjoy music but who may or may not be headed for a career in music. We believe that music enhances a child's ability to learn, provides a means for stress relief as well as lifelong enjoyment.
